Dr. Peng Yong, M.D., Phd., Associate
Professor, Depts. Of Anesthesiology and Surgery; Director, Cardiothoracic
Anesthesia Fellowship Program & Perioperative Esophageal Ecocardiology,
Shands Hospital, University of Florida, will be our guest speaker.
Dr. Peng will tell us of his experiences
since his arrival at UF. Beginning with only a basic knowledge of the
English language, in time Dr. Peng earned numerous awards for his teaching
skills. Come listen and discover what he has learned while adjusting
to life in America.
Dr. Cynthia Chennault, Associate Professor
of Chinese Language will speak on September 9. She will speak about
the Chinese language program at the University of Florida
Students of the Chinese language in
Dr. Chennault’s program are also invited to this meeting. Come meet
people who want to know about your language and culture.
